Our Story
Working for one of the largest equity investors in the affordable housing industry,
Andrew Weissman was the typical "road warrior", having to monitor as many as 30
apartment communities in various stages of construction at any given time. And although
he was extremely focused on the projects in his region, the task of staying “on
top” of projects that were spread across as many as six states was daunting. Whatever
the issue -- environmental, subcontractor disputes, correction notices, urgent request
for information, or the dreaded change order -- having the information organized,
accessible, and available when needed was critical to his success.
To that end, Mr. Weissman set out to create a web-based program to host the essential
information needed to manage his construction projects. Together, along with input
from Fortune 500 executives, insurance professionals, lenders, attorneys and advisors,
he developed ConstructionPhotoDocs.Com., a powerful management tool for the construction
professional.
Within a few mouse clicks, development professionals can now have access to progression
and milestone photos from any location within their projects, as well as access
to decision-critical documents such as payment applications, inspection reports,
requests for information, change orders, structural observation reports, project
directories and more.
In today’s litigious environment, Construction Photo Documentation is also recognized
by developers, contractors and insurance professionals as a valuable risk-mitigation
tool serving to dramatically reduce the exposure to construction defect claims and
the related costs.
